Construction

This is a very well built ghillie poncho, built on 5′ x 9′ knotted nylon netting, where 3000 knots of synthetic thread is then tied directly onto it.  Going with tradition, this along with many other ponchos, it is a One-Size-Fits All, pullover style poncho with an attached hood.  The sleeves are seperated for each arm, white the rest of the poncho drops to the ground.

It is very light weight, but each 1″x1″ square of netting has 500 Lbs. of tensile strength. The ghillie poncho is built with Fire-retardant, is Water repellent, Mildew resistant, Rot proof and Non allergenic.

Use

The poncho can fit a person up to 6′6 feet tall, so you cna imagine if your a shorter you’ll be dragging this extra length around. This will make it difficult to maneuver, let alone move quickly. You can either trim it (which is possible) or attach a clip to your waist area to lift the bottom of the poncho, fold it and then attach it to your waist, then move around. When needed, you can unclip it and cover your lower half to your feet.
